This website is my portal for displaying and sharing my overlapping professional and recreational interests.
A brief bio: I was born in India and spent most of my childhood in the Middle East, before moving to Canada just before my 18th birthday.
I began my career in academia, working as a lab technician and research assistant in a neuroscience lab in Carleton University in Ottawa. I then switched paths to journalism, and enjoyed a stint as a researcher for Discovery Channel Canada on the station’s flagship science & technology program Daily Planet.
I then worked for leading trend spotting and consumer insight company Trend Hunter as a writer, editor and Business Development Specialist.
I currently ply my trade as a freelance journalist.
My hobbies include music composition, soccer, travel, cooking, reading and the outdoors.
